3. Shareable Filtered Views
Being able to share filtered views has cut down on the confusion between team members when evaluating time logs, tasks, etc.
We have created custom views for “Hygiene Checks” to allow managers to review their team’s work and adjust any incorrect logs.
What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?
1. Scheduler Load Times - Data can take a long time to load (such as the logged time percentage) and refreshes / changes when scrolling through the list. This disrupts visibility and makes the use of the tool quite limited with “in the moment” assessments.
2.Bulk Editing Limitations - Bulk Editing is only available in (or has limited functionality) in some views. When editing large groups of tasks, you are forced to load all tasks on the screen first (scrolling to the bottom and clicking Load More) before being able to bulk edit them.
3.Company Holidays - Each year, one member on the team manually adds company holidays as Unavailable Time for all users. Any new users after that must add the dates themselves. We expect the ability to set certain dates as automatically unavailable for all users.

Create projects in as much detail, or as little, as you like, and set up recurring tasks, dependencies, and allocate to team members, or external people including clients (without them needing a paid account). Constant feature improvements since I started using it quite a few years ago. Can also be used for personal projects, tasks, planning and dreaming/distractions, to get the info out of your head and recorded in a central system.

What do you like best about Teamwork.com?
We honestly couldn't live without Teamwork. We have a team of four leads, each with between 5 and 15 projects going at once and at various stages of completion. These are year-long projects with so many moving pieces that without our project manager and Teamwork, we would not be able to do as much as we do. Not only do we get everything accomplished, we do it on time and on budget! Teamwork is always adding great new features that make our job easier. We are even integrating it into other teams because we know the value of it and how much it will help them. We get a daily email with a list of upcoming deadlines for tasks and milestones so it is easy to stay on top of what you must focus on for that day. We have had to reach out to customer support a few times asking about a feature we would like to see implemented and they either tell us it is something they are working on or offer a different solution.

Sometimes they change the UI and it takes us a bit to get used to it - more times than not, it isn't a big deal.

What do you like best about Teamwork.com?
The templates in Teamwork are the best thing about Teamwork. They are easy to use for quick addition of new projects with common tasks. Being able to add timelines to the template is so useful as well. Time tracking and sub-tasks are close behind. Our team uses teamwork daily - I've got it open all day long for quick reference and updates on tasks. Implementing the system and learning how to use it was no problem, new team members find it straight forward to use. The option to make tasks recurring is also a huge help with all of the options available on how I would like to make it recurring.

This is a small thing but my least favorite thing about Teamwork is that when I am adding a task and putting a person on the task, if I change what list it the task should be under, the person I assigned it to disappears and I have to reselect them. Also, the location of where to edit/create templates is kind of odd, it's not intuitive.

Teamwork is helping us more clearly understand the time team members spend on tasks so that we can evaluate productiviy and profitability - super important! It also solves the issue of tasks getting missed by our team to make sure projects are done properly.

It is easy to use, yet has been deeper and more powerful capabilities. It's a great tool for unifying developers, designers and everyone involved in a project, needing little training. It is a great place to link to and store all things related to a project or initiative, and because it is not tied to a complex workflow, any new user can easily pick up how to use it and what to do.
We use teamwork.com daily, and it has powerful integrations with popular timekeeping and invoicing systems. To implement, takes virtually no time, and support is excellentt.
What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?
The newer interface is a little slower to use, do to positioning of previously easily accessible buttons. They've focused on simplicity at th expense of utility.
What problems is Teamwork.com solving and how is that benefiting you?
The teamwork helpdesk is incredibly easy to set up, and very affordable. It's very easy to onboard a team, and if needed, can be easily taiored to break up ticket types into different inboxes, for different team members.
For project management, the lists capability is very intuitive, and our team far prefers it to more complex systems like Jira. You can make lists of lists, group lists by project, associate milestones with a project, store links and notes all in one place. Far easier to collaborate across clients and organizations than if using Office 365 or Google workspace, though it can leverage both easily, just by integrating or linking to their storage or documents.
For simple resources, we use the notes and links features liberally - no need to hunt through folders or link trees, everything is searchable and in one place, but separate from all your other stuff.
The best thing about teamwork.com is that it is very fast, and very intuitive for any stakeholder to make sense of and use.

Helps me with Project Management for my product team, it helps me organize the tasks of the projects that we have. It gives the options to create projects with tasks and different levels of substasks which is helpful to propetly manage a project. Also, it helps me track all the hours that employees dedicate to one specific task.

I like that there are constantly new features being added and tested. It's an active environment being run by a company that's actually trying to improve their product.

In hours logging (time card or calendar), it's a little too narrow in searching for tasks to log. I spend half of my weekly logging time looking for a task I know is there, and I have to jump back and forth between boards or slack or whatever to find tasks.

Teamwork is a central communication hub for myself and my coworkers, and is the final answer in project management. That makes my weekly sprints obvious and easy to track.

Teamwork is easy to use for my collaborators and clients. It provides enough information for them to keep track of their tasks and provide the necessary information to the team members. I use this project everyday which makes it a necessary tool in my day-to-day job.

I would like to see a calendar view which provides necessary information for collaborators and clients to see their tasks at a glance. The import feature needs work from excel as 9 x out of 10 it will crash when trying to do an upload to create a new project. Tracking hours for collaborators is not available unless they are a paid subscriber but not affordable for this one feature.

What do you like best about Teamwork.com?
Teamwork projects has helped our marketing agency, Richworth Marketing, stay organized, focused and on task. The organzational structure of the software far exceeds expectations. Our team relies HEAVILY on the Workload planner to plan our week and weeks ahead. Additionally, we use the timer feature to time our tasks to guage how long we are spending on each project to compare with profitability. Teamwork is extremely easy to use with the various Quick Features it has. Customer Support was absolutely wonderful and their onboarding team helped us implement the software within our company with ease. We use Teamwork every single day at our company, and as a matter of face, I am comfortable enough with the software to say that it is one of the backbones of our business that helps keep us moving forward.
What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?
The only downside of using Teamwork is the Mobile App features. Not all features are available on the mobile app. For example, the workload planner. If I am on the road, I would like to be able to use the app to see the workload for my team. Unfortunately, this is unavailable. Also, the Time page is not as robust on the app as it is on desktop, meaning the lack of filtration for companies, team members and dates. We use this everyday. I would love to see new features added to the Mobile App that already exist on the desktop version.
I have not found a solution as the desktop version is not mobile friendly. So, if using my iPhone to login via Safari, the site is a bit clunky, thus making it useless.

As a small team with a heavy workload, Teamwork makes it easy for us to schedule our time wisely. We try not to dump too much work on our tem's plate. So having the ability to really fine-tune our schedule is something that means a lot of us. Additionaly, it gives us to set clear windows for when projects will be complete for our customers to prevent us from making false promises, accidentally.

I find that the Dashboard and "Summary"-page would need an update. I don't feel that it's useful in it's current form.

Firstly, it is very important to mention its speed and ease of use, which makes it very easy to use the software from the beginning. It seems to me that the fact that it works online and does not depend on manual updates to purchase other programs is absolutely advantageous. Having features tailored to working with clients, including the ability to provide clients with real-time project updates via Gantt charts or Kanban boards, is a huge advantage. Allows for customization and branding while maintaining a professional image by sharing project progress with clients.

I wish there were HR fuctions. Right now we use TW for a lot of approvals from policies to PTO (Leave) leadership uses the comments for approval on things and then we use print to pdf and save these for our records.

The UI of Teamwork is clean and uncluttered, and the software comes with a fantastic collection of features that aren't overly complicated. I can make sure that everyone on the team is aware of their duties and when they are due by using it to make thorough to-do lists, assign roles, and establish due dates. The option to set a task's priority as high, medium, or low is great. I can set a due date for a task. With all these resources at our disposal, we can maintain concentration and alignment, which in turn increases productivity and allows us to accomplish all of our business goals.

In order for the team to make better changes, creations, and visualizations, it would be fantastic if they could view the tasks in the company overview.

We began utilizing them independently after being presented with them as a replacement for a tool we were already using. We began promoting Teamwork to the rest of my team once we realized how well it might facilitate team cooperation; this was especially true for projects with many interdependent components. In small-team collaboration, it's great for keeping everyone apprised of progress, assigning responsibilities, and prioritizing tasks so that everyone can meet deadlines. I am the Site Administrator for Teamwork for my organization. As a part of managing the PMO , I must keep track of multiple projects across the organization. Teamwork makes my job very efficient. Every morning, I review the notifications, and address any concerns or issues with the project owners. It is very efficient to communicate and collaborate with the project teams using comments and messaging.
I generate weekly status reports utilizing ‘Project Health’, ‘Portfolio’, and ‘Chart’ to keep the senior directors informed about projects progress and status. It is very easy to generate the reports.
I love Teamwork because it is comprehensive, intuitive, and very easy to learn. When a new employee joins the organization, the learning curve in not steep at all.
If I ever run into any issues with Teamwork, the support team is vey prompt and professional in providing the solution.
This is one of the best tools for project management in the market.

This is tough, as it is on me to correct this but there is SO much power in the program that it can be overwhelming. Start simple and build from there.

The upsides for Teamwork are the ease of adding in jobs and tasks, and the organization the platform provides with different clients, the project's urgency rating, and the clean interface of seeing daily tasks. The task timer is easy to use and effective. Project templates help cut down time on entering in tasks, especially for retainer clients. Overall, Teamwork makes daily task entering and completion easy to follow and understand.

Currently, I am being asked to confirm I am a human before Teamwork allows me to sign in which is not only annoying, but this is every time I log in. This is a new feature but I feel like it should go by IP address so every time is not necessary. Hunting for closed tasks could also use some improvement for ease of use.

By having all clients and tasks in one location, being able to look up past projects and clients, and seeing daily tasks in one collective area is super efficient and convenient.

The invoicing and reporting of tracked times feels very uneasy. It's not easy to overview tracked times and when invoicing them you have the constant fear that you are not getting eveything. Compared to other softwares, not a greate invoicing interface. Also invoicing should be possible by client and not just per project.

I've used numerous project management platforms and TW really stands out as the best. It has all the functionality you're looking for without any unnecessary "bells and whistles" that distract from the user experience. I use it throughout the day and its an essential part of my workflow.

It does occasionally go "down" but I've never been unable to access for more than 30 minutes or so.

It's clear from the extensive features and ease of use that the the founders were agency owners in the past. We love the Dropbox integration that ensures all of our documents are in a central place across the agency. I also really appreciate that the customer support team is very responsive and actually cares about us. The quarterly webinars with upcoming features gives us a sneak peek into what we can look forward to in the future.
What do you dislike about Teamwork.com?
As an administrator the permissions across a large number of projects can be a lot to keep in line. It would be nice if there was the ability to create a set of permissions per project category, or role. Not a huge issue, but would be a nice to have.

We use Teamwork for all of our contracts including one-time projects and recurring retainer type work for our agency.

It doesn't require to be onboarded by a technician or a sales team and you can import contacts and projects very easily. If you need assistance, there's a quick support and they'll help you out in no time. We use teamwork.com everyday and it is part of our ongoing operations. Implementing is fast and easy and you can connect multiples other software with it.

To be honnest, nothing is to be disliked, like any other software, you'll have friction points but the team at teamwork will make you to get you setup quickly.

It's really user friendly over all but it needs a learning period before you feel fully conformatable with this tool. Love the way we can see allthe reporting and stats about each project and each users. Let you plan a project in details and make sure you have the necessary information all in one place. You can share documents and notify your team whenever a new comment is added. It's a robust plateform, not sure it's the best solution for a small business with a limited amount of project at the time.

There is so many features that I fell I dont fully opitmize my use of the platform. Also it could be expensive for the use of it and for smaller businesses. What do you like best about Teamwork.com?
We searched and tested many of the major players in the Project Management space, and are so pleased with our decision to utilize Teamwork.com. We've been working with the program for almost 5 years now and have been very pleased with the frequent improvements to the program. We have also been able to gradually use more and more of the features as we need them, versus having to use everything available in order for it to work well. And the customer service and insturciton for the software is amazing, their response time is super quick and there are tons of videos online that are quick to watch and get straight to the point. We especially like using these to onboard folks to the system.

If there was one thing i could change it would be to have some of the add ons that come with the higher levels of subscription be able to be used without upgrading to the next level. There are some features we would use if available, and even pay more for, but we don't want to invest to the next higher level.

What I like best about Teamwork is how it helps us not drop the ball on all the different things we need to get done in the business. We also love how it has helped us develop business systems so we don't have to reinvent the wheel over and over again.

The billing is set up per employee per year and we bring in interns for 3 months stints, so we've had to set up workarounds that aren't ideal, for time tracking.
When we have Teamwork connected to Google calendar it doesn't block out the time for a Task o nthe Calendar. Rather, it puts it as a Task reminder that shows up at the top of the calendar.

Teamwork solves our problem of what needs to get done and in what order. It also helps us with our business systems. We use it as our time clock. It helps us with both project and task management and priotization.

Teamwork allows us to use one tool, that can be adapted for the various project management styles we use. For large projects and website builds, visualising the project in a Gannt chart is vital, where as managing ad-hoc client request for other clients can be done in a task list or board.
Overall, it's the versatility that Teamwork caters for is the main reason we use it.
The whole team use Teamwork daily and it's our central place for managing all client work.
The customer support is very good, we have only had a handful of queries but they get resolved very fast.
We haven't had any need to integrate teamwork with other apps as it handles everything we need natively.
We also find it very easy to get new users up and running.

The same reason we love Teamwork, is also its downfall... it can be hard to get the whole team using the software in the same way. This isn't so much an issue with Teamwork but more about how we manage internal processes and how we implement it within our organisation, however it would be great if you could completely turn off fewtures you didn't use or want, to make the interface more streamlined and intuitive.

The biggest problem it solves is centralising lots of elements into one tool. This includes time tracking, task management and project management. It also gives us a top level view of the workload within the team and helps us analyse best customers (highest revenue with least time spent servicing them).

What do you like best about Teamwork.com?
The ability to add your task straight from email to teamwork works wonders! It helps keep track of what has come in and what items have something with a follow up. It allows you to track time spent on a client and lets you know if you are about to go over the hours alloted for them.
If you have a task that needs to involve more then one person, you can add everyone needed and then they can keep up with the task and mark it complete. Teamwork gives you the ability to see what is due on what days and helps keep things in order.

I don't have any dislikes. I am investigator by nature so as soon as I have access to new software, I love to jump in and find everything possible to make work life easier.
