"Central Hub for our Strategic Marketing PMO"

What do you like best about Wrike?

At Molex, Wrike serves as our primary tool for managing our Strategic Marketing PMO efforts. We utilize it as one platform to record, organize, and track all projects. We love the use of submission forms and workflows. They allow us to capture project request details and integrate them effortlessly into our plans, minimizing unnecessary back-and-forth communication.

Wrike’s blueprints are a game changer! Blueprints have standardized our project initiation, promoting consistency and efficiency across all global teams. All teams understand that work, communication and approvals must be tracked in Wrike. Most recently, we created an onboarding blueprint for our vendors and internal hires. This has saved us a ton of time and it quickly brings new team members up to speed with clear Wrike training expectations and timelines.

Our teams and management also enjoy Wrike's dashboards and real-time reporting. These allow for constant transparency into project statuses and team performance.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Difficulties with SharePoint folder creation integration.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

At Molex, we very much enjoy the submission forms and the ability to customize our workflows. These two tools enable us to capture project requests and requirements and integrate the requirements seamlessly into our project plans. Whether it's a new campaign, program, or a request for creative assets, our submission forms ensure that all necessary information is gathered upfront, minimizing back-and-forth and setting clear expectations from the start.

Wrike’s blueprints for projects and onboarding processes have streamlined our project intake phases. This is particularly beneficial for onboarding new team members, as it provides them with immediate access to the right resources and a clear understanding of our Wrike expectations and training timelines.

As a Marketing Project Manager, the submission forms, custom workflows and blueprints have saved me immense time in project setup.

"Adaptable, Versatile, Useful - Every PM should have this in their toolkit!"

What do you like best about Wrike?

The best thing about Wrike is the ability to customize all the features and tools within the system. I doubt there is a working environment in any industry that could not find a valuable way to use this system.

My favourite feature is the ability to use custom item types and custom workflows to support ease of tracking and reporting and reviewing.

Tied for second is the dashboards that are also 100% customizable so you are viewing the information pertinent to yourself, your team, your department or your whole organization / project. I use my dashboard daily

What do you dislike about Wrike?

A great thing about wrike is how quickly they roll out new features, but that also comes with the downside that sometimes the additional features do not work well initially. They are very receptive to feedback, quick to respond and quick to adapt.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our industry has a lot of reporting requirements that have now been integrated into wrike making it easy to create a variety of reporting tools, that our franchise holders always have access to

"POWERFUL tool, but you need an expert to make the most of it"

What do you like best about Wrike?

I absolutely love how flexible Wrike is and that it really gives you the opportunity to make it your own. Reporting tools are powerful and visually they come together quickly and are incredibly userful.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike is BIG. We rolled it out to a team of around 50 and it was no easy task. We have at least 4 experts within the team and we were stretched thin to make the roll out a success. There are negative nuances along the way and if you don't understand those, then you could be in trouble.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

We fullfill thousands of Marketing assets for our clients and use Wrike for end to end fullfillment.

"Excellent product for diverse applications"

What do you like best about Wrike?

Our company's decision to transition project management systems was a comprehensive evaluation of the available alternatives. We identified Wrike as the best option because of its capability to manage many project kinds. Our organization uses it on a daily basis to give work updates and communicate about the job itself. The software is cool and the dashboards are awesome! The assistance we receive from Wrike office representatives and the Wrike community has been outstanding.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

One drawback that we have found with Wrike is its difficulty in importing our old Excel trackers. Doing the execution in-house is a little nagging and integrating it through Wrike is a costly endeavor.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike has merged our divisions. Due to our better teamwork, we no longer need to adhere to a siloed approach to our job.

"Streamlining work flow with wrike, a great tool for project management with scalabilty"

What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike has helped us consistently track our campaigns and projects on day to day basis. We can easily collaborate with clients and relevant teams through real-time updates, file sharing, and task comment options.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

For simpler or small projects, Wrike might feel overwhelming due to it's variety of features and too many steps, which again forces people to use mails for communication.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike eliminates the inefficiencies of managing tasks and projects across multiple platforms like lengthy email threads by providing a centralized network for project management. This ensures clear assigned ownership of work, deadlines, and priorities, helping teams stay organized and focused without the confusion that often arises from scattered communication.

"Easy to Use, Built for Robust Teams"

What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike has been transformational for our team. We love how we can cater workspaces to the working needs of any individual on our team. We also love how user-friendly it is compared to other programs, like Salesforce, or Microsoft Project. We also love the customizeable visualization features in dashboards and calendars. It feels like every time someone asks if Wrike can do what they want, the answer is yes! Public view links, collaborators, and other factors were huge deciding factors as to why we chose Wrike as well. Wrike's implementation and deployment process was super easy as well. Their customer support has been fantastic, quick, and easy to coordinate with. Our team uses Wrike every day!

What do you dislike about Wrike?

I don't like that we only get so few licenses for the price, but it is a true powerhouse so I won't complain too much! I also wish that collaborators could add to the description field, that would be a huge plus.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike is helping us solve many business problems – mainly the fact that we needed a central place to manage and store tasks, projects, and files associated with multi-touchpoint projects. Additionally, Wrike helps us cross-collaborate between departments which is a huge plus. Lastly, Wrike helps us visualize our work differently according to the needs of each team or leadership member.

"Project Organization to the Next Level!"

What do you like best about Wrike?

Blueprints! Being in a position of repeatative process, email marketing, blueprints are SUPER helpful in capturing all the reapeatable steps it takes to get emails out the door and limit fatique from creating tasks.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

If you don't proactively explore the tool with an inquisitive mind to understand the ways it can help you, you're going to get bogged down by "I don't know what to do" and "this is annoying" in how you navigate the menus and functions.

Be curious!

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

One way Wrike helps us visualize work - For planning ahead, we use folders, boards and workflow statuses to create roadmaps. For example, the roadmap for email is a folder called "Roadmap - Email" and is a board view based on a workflow created that has selections for "This quarter, next quarter, this year, next year, and TBD". From there we can now put larger initiatives or ideas and plot them where they best fit. Say we want to redo our welcome email series next year. I would make a task that contains the details and tag the workflow status of "next year". Then as time goes on, we can check in on if that timing still makes sense and build out the project with subtasks when the work is ready to be picked up and moved off of the roadmap.

"Wrike in Business"

What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike is a tool that allows you to fulfill most business needs in one place. This program keeps your space organized, let's you create workflows, request forms, and bridge the communication gap. It reduces the email load, assigns related tasks and deadlines, and helps create a pathway to meeting the businesses needs. Wrike has become essential in my day and keeps me organized and on top of my tasks. I communicate with my team, get approvals, feedback, and work on projects. It was easy to implement into the business, I can search for help and anwers on their website, and it integrated well with my email. It has been a life changer!

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike hasn't shown me anything I haven't liked. It has opened the door to so many possibilities and I can't wait to see what else it brings in the future.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is putting all tasks in one location and making each task a smoother process. We have been able to improve processes, provide better communication, and it has been easily accessible.

"Wrike has been great for us; we haven't had any problems"

What do you like best about Wrike?

Productivity has been enhanced by removing essential but repetitive chores. With the option to attach files and add notes at the row level, our projects are kept organized and can be accessed by anybody with viewing permissions through the mobile app. Now that I have the app on my phone, I can access my spreadsheets anytime I want, without having to switch between different platforms.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

There aren't many things I don't like about this program. Unexpected crashes or functional loss do happen from time to time, but they are quite unusual.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

We utilize Wrike, a web-based program for collaboration, across the entire firm. Task delegation, resource tracking and allocation, and budget tracking are all made easy with this tool. One example of the tool's great visibility is the ability to view activity logs and track changes. Thanks to Wrike's real-time workflow tracking, everyone on the team can see the impact of a single team member's edit in an instant. Not only does it work with a wide variety of OSes, but it has also demonstrated to be a cohesive platform that allows all essential team members to view.

"Wrike has transformed our ways of working at our Global Marketing Agency"

What do you like best about Wrike?

After doing an audit of various project management/collaboration tools in the market, we decided to go with Wrike for its flexibility and its ability to integrate well with other platforms. It’s allowed us to consolidate processes that were being done across a variety of other platforms (Monday, Trello, Basecamp, Float, Smartsheet, tons of spreadsheets, etc.) into one system.

We especially love the ability to create custom items, create blueprint, set automation rules, see tasks in a number of views (table view, kanban boards, etc).

Wrike also releases new features on a weekly basis. Since we’ve started using Wrike, they’ve implemented several features that were on our wishlist.

Their customer success + support teams have also been excellent.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Some features (eg Wrike Integrate) are counted as add-ons and the additional cost is added as an additional fee on licensing costs. This has made some features we’d like to use too cost-prohibitive.

It's not the easiest platform to learn, but understandable since it's such a flexible platform. We needed a dedicated team to configure + successfully implement Wrike, which may be a challenge for some companies.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike has given our teams way more visibility into work across the business. Wrike has also helped us automate a significant amount of manual work, standardize processes across teams, and streamline our ability to collect granular project-level data for client-facing reporting.
