What do you like best about Swell?
I was amazed by the freedom of being able to develop sleek online stores for web, mobile or even virtual reality. Swell comes with a clean looking interface and claims the user is only limited by their imagination. This truly can be the defining factor when it comes to providing bespoke customer communications.
What do you dislike about Swell?
I came to realize that some features were either fixed or required a lot of coding by the developers if one wanted to venture further beyond the templates provided. The idea of unlimited design liberty may sound appealing, it is not always the case in practice.
What problems is Swell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Swell helps reduce the amount of code that an online store owner has to write from scratch for creating specific functionality such as subscriptions and pre-order. This can be beneficial for businesses that are struggling to build their customer base.

Best features is the group texting, scheduled texts, and being able to send out a mass text.

I wish you could alter between text or email, its quite the run around when you have to email a client.

It solves not having to call each one of our clients and also helps us answer questions of future customers via our website.

The bugs. Multiple errors and reloading when halfway through a message. the page jumps down when you have scrolled up to past messages.

What do you like best about Swell?
Love how user-friendly Swell is! I set up with a rep how I wanted our review capturing requests to look, and everything after that was easy. We are a tour company, so there are hundreds of texts going out each day at different times, but I hardly have to do anything. It is well organized on the back end, making it easy to see the responses and troubleshoot any issues. Customer service is excellent as well.
What do you dislike about Swell?
I wish I could do a date filter on the beta experience like I can on the original experience. This would help me sort through the reviews from a certain time period, rather than having to browse to find the correct date, or switch over to the "original experience".
What problems is Swell solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were struggling with low numbers on our reviews. The automated requests with direct links are making it easier for guests to leave comments about our tours.

What do you like best about Swell?
I find Swell's pricing to be the most reasonable of all the companies in this field. I also appreciate that I can get a response from them when we are encountering an issue with the software. Also, many features like the photo we want to pop up for our webchat or even canned responses are customizable. All employees I have worked with are great at customer service.
What do you dislike about Swell?
Swell's layout takes time to get used to. Having to either keep all conversations in the inbox or archive them is a bit frustrating. Also when trying to get many texts out back to back the program tends to freeze if you are going quickly. It will either not pull up the name you want or not allow you to type. Refreshing helps, just wish it worked at the speed I do. Another thing is auto delivery texts don't work properly. Some guests will get three texts in a row, and a few get none. We haven't solved that issue yet.

They seem to be trying to get our auto-delivery texts to work properly. I don't see any improvement on the freezing yet.

Swell allows our clients to connect with us just like anyone else in their contact list. It quickly brings our communication into their lives, creating more interaction and helping us access photos and documents.
What do you dislike about Swell?
If Swell has a downside, I haven't noticed it yet!

It solves the issue of any client or prospect being unable to answer a phone call. It also aids our clients in sending photos without going through the attachment process of an email.

Confusing. Hard to close out chats. Hard to search for existing clients via phone number or name. There is the new interface and the old interface. Keeping both was very confusing for staff. Why not keep one? But then there were things you could do in one interface you couldn't do in another.
They need to simplify things. Pick an interface and go with it.
Ultimately, we returned to the old texting software as it was easier to use.
