"Intuitive CRM tool with tons of features"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
WeI use Nutshell to identify, cultivate, and close deals with investors, having raised over $25M since using it. What I like best about Nutshell is how intuitively it helps me manage relationships with investors and collaborators, and how easy to use it is and easy to teach new users. Its straightforward interface makes tracking conversations, organizing tasks, and monitoring deal progress seamless. The robust reporting tools allow me to stay on top of fundraising efforts and ensure that no opportunity falls through the cracks, and it integrates with the tools we use.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
It's not quite as full-featured as Salesforce in terms of integrations, but it is less expensive and WAY easier to use.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to raise capital for new projects. It gives us a 360 degree view of our current and potential investors, with emails, chats, texts, calls, pitch deck visits etc all in one place.
"Nutshell has helped me reach thousands of clients at once in my company's marketing efforts."
What do you like best about Nutshell?
Nutshell is easy to use - whether it's creating a broadcast, a list, or even contacting support with a question you may have. Customer support is by far the best part about nutshell. Every time I had an issue or was unsure of how to use a specific feature, they were there to help. Most of the time with rapid response!
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
The downside about Nutshell that I have experienced is the lack of ability to easily, completely freestyle the broadcasts and import certain design aspects.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reahcing all clients at once effectively
"Nutshell has changed our game!"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
Nutshell has always been intuitive to use from day one. With no formal understanding, any user can hop in pretty quickly. Our small business team is now equipped with a tool that facilitates our sales growth and keeps us on track with any of our competitors. Our sales have improved significantly alongside the use of Nutshell and I look forward to another full year of use.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
The most challenging aspect for me personally is reporting. Not quite as straightforward as the rest of the tools. I also don't seem to understand the cap on available pipelines so only having 5 seems a little restrictive.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nutshell helps automate a lot of our customer outreach and allows very targeted runs of emails to be sent en masse. We are also able to track hundreds of leads at any given time and the customizable buildout of pipelines keeps it tailored to our offerings.
"Has been a Godsend for me in this new position"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
I like that it is easy to search archival commuication between customers and my company. I often use it to keep track of previous communications and gather information to better assist my customers and my bosses in their decision-making.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
I wish there was a way to send all my emails into Nutshell without always having to remember to use the bcc email address. Also, more options for a support integration would be great.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Archival information from previous employees. It helps me get a more well-rounded view of what has been discussed previously so I can remain consistent.
"Nutshell CRM - A User friendly CRM"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
Nutshell is an easy and affordable CRM. Being Web-based, it's easy to get up and running. The dashboard has a clean interface that enables you to manage your tasks quickly and effectively.
What I like: The support is first-class. Should you have a question or need training, the team is readily available and very knowledgeable. You can customize Nutshell to really drill down on what’s important for your business. We personally use it to track leads from when they arrive to when they are closed. The pipeline allows you instantly check on the status and follow up as necessary.
The email integration is top-notch. From Nutshell, you can easily communicate with leads and just as effectively, log the communication.
From start to finish, Nutshell provides the tools to effectively manage your CRM/Pipeline on a daily basis.
Whereas many CRMs require an extreme investment of time and resources (and money), Nutshell is a versatile tool at a significantly lower pricepoint. It's ease of use makes the process of implementation and adaptation much more digestable.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
It takes time to learn, like any CRM, but the learning curve is significatnly less than most CRMs, which I have used in the past.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a single-point resource from which and through which we can more effectively manage our sales pipeline.
"One stop shopping with Nutshell saves me headaches"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
I like that it has a lot of built-in features that are included, no more added fees. If you want more, you can upgrade but I feel the prices are fair for what I get. I get excellent support and people there are eager to help.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
Juat like any software, you need to understand the UI and why it was done that way. So, the learning curve is just that, just like any other software. It's not steep, just takes time to learn it.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Loosing track of customers, keeping the thread going and going the nurturing route to push the sales down the line to hopefully sell them what I am offering.
"A great fit for small businesses"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
The scalibility of Nutshell is most helpful to me as a small business owner. I can add verious modules and services as my business grows and needs more capabilities. I don't need to pay for things I don't need at the outset. Since being a subscriber, I have upgraded to Nutshell Busines, added campaigns, and added visitor IQ. These services were upgraded or added as it made sense for my business.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
What I like least about Nutshell is the feeling that current customers do not get as much priority as they did before they were customers. Getting a call with someone in Sales is impossible if you're already a customer. Also simply talking to someone about challanges with the system is difficult too. I understand that digital channels (email or chat) are less expensive but as a customer, I don't want to be managed down to most lowcost methods of providing service to me as an existing customer. It's kinda like dating versus marriage. You can win me as we date but you have to continue to date me during the marriage if you want it to last.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nutshell is helping cetralize key components of growing a business. Independently maintaining people, leads, emails, pipelines, etc is one thing. Getting these components to talk to each other an steamline a connected experience for your business is where Nutshell's secret sauce exists.
"Streamlined CRM so sales can focus on sales, not CRM"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
After trying many CRMs and failing to get traction with our team, we found Nutshell CRM to be a great fit. They provide all the core features to run a successful sales team, with a straightforward and effective UI, without all of the unnecessary clicks and clutter found in many CRMs.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
Nutshell makes using CRM so simple and effective, it adapts well to different sales processes. If you have a defined sales process, this is going to work well for you. If you need the CRM to help you shape your sales process by giving guardrails, Nutshell may present some struggles as it is quite flexible.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nutshell provides a simple and effective approach to sales activity scheduling and monitoring, as well as the ability to create custom sales pipelines to that match our process. The email marketing is simple to use and we are able to quickly launch braodcast campaigns. Nutshell continually adds new features and integrations making it a unified platform for our sales team.
"Nutshell has amazing features and great help and support at the click of a button"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
Nutshell is amazing it's really helping our business grow and has some great features i love the fact i can see when emails have been opened and links have been clicked it really helps me see what emails work best. we didn't have a CRM before but I have used different companies in the past and Nutshell is its above them all. I have had a few small issues and the customer service has been amazing they have been quick, supportive and attentive they have made sure they have kept me up-to-date all the way through until the issues have been fixed. The ease of transferring data from quick books was great so issues at all so with the integration its been fantastic. As i use it everyday i can see how much its going to help me the potential is really there
Thank you again couldn't recommend it enough
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
my only thing is to have people on site more as i am from te UK if i have an issue in the morning i have to wait untill your time.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
we didnt have sales until i started so was usuing just quick books so its helped in everyway keeping track of customers arranging call backs with ease and sending emails.
"Top of the list as my choice of CRM"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
The user interface is incredibly intuitive, making it easy to navigate even for someone without a technical background. Setting up and customizing workflows was a breeze, and I can now track leads, manage customer interactions, and automate follow-ups with just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
The program does have a large list of options and possiblities. At first glance I though that it might be too much... more than I needed. But after diving in a bit, I determined to only use exactly what I needed and forget about the options/services that were not important to me. It's alot to unpack, at first glance.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the standout features for me is the powerful reporting and analytics tools. I can easily monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and generate detailed reports in real-time. This has allowed me to make informed decisions and improve my productivity significantly.
"This CRM really helps us!"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
We really enjoy the use of the application as it helps keep items, notes, details and orders organized and easy to find.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
We would like the phone app to be more robust and have more features to excel as the only tool needed while a sales rep is on the road.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collection and access of client information is key! We love seeing all the communication like emails or phone calls all in one place.
"We are just using it as a shared contact/email database for our company, and for that it works OK."
What do you like best about Nutshell?
It is very simple and straightforward to setup and use. We tried other CRMs and chose Nutshell because of its simplicity. And whenever we've had questions, the support team has replied quickly.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
A minor but annoying issue is that the Outlook plugin can't be pinned....it must be reopened whenever we move from one email to the next.
And within the Nutshell database, when looking through a contact's email history, we are unable to search for specific keywords/terms. Can only search for emails within a specific date. Our use-case might be different than most others, so this may be a non-issue.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our small business, all the employees need to have access to all contact records and their email histories.
"So Intuitive!"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
We had been using another CRM, but that CRM was not intuitive and had too many options, too much information that was not actually useful to our team. So unfortunatly, we just didn't use the old one, yet kept paying for it even though it was too expensive. We were just frustrated with the experience. But we have found the opposite to be true of Nutshell! It has veen easy to implement for our team, everyone has been able to use it, and found its strengths for each of our needs and uses. We also LOVED having the 2 free training sessions! Thank you!
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
We havn't found any negatives so far! Thanks!
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working on sales and marketing
"Nutshell CRM is great for small-medium size businesses"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
Our team has been using Nutshell for five years now. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with the ease of onboarding and being able to custom our pipeline for our specific business needs. In my professional opinion, I find Nutshell more straight forward and easier to utilize than the 'other' main blue cloud logo CRM system. Their pricing is fair, their customer service team has been friendly and easy to communicate with and their frequent new product releases are appreciated.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
I wish there were more options and customizations for the marketing emails. It's fine to use, but rather clunky.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead generation (forms and marketing), sales pipeline, using PandaDoc integration for proposals, comment feature, reporting capabilities - I'm sure there's more!
"Great CRM That's Consistently Improving!"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
We've been using Nutshell for over 3 years for our business and it's been instrumental for keeping our client list up to date and managing our leads. They have a roadmap that consistently improves their system and features
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
Some of the roadmap/AI features are not very helpful for our industry. We would like if Nutshell had a scheduling feature for projects/travel.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nutshell helps us manage our leads and customer base, in addition to having some great custom fields that our scheduling team uses.
"User Review After Ten Months on Nutshell"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
First, the conversion from SalesForce was fast and free. The Nutshell fees are about 20-25% of what we were paying on SalesForce. Nutshell keeps me logged in, whereas SalesForce kicked me out often, and implemented an onerous login process. Nutshell is very easy to use and is intuitive. Customer support is great. We run our business on Nutshell and love it.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
I see no major downsides in using Nutshell, The only improvement that I would like to see is for tasks to "roll up" from all individuals to the company level. That way, you could look at the company and see all of the activities that you need to work on.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ease of use and cost. I get more done more quickly and it costs me less.
"Success"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
It was easy to embed into our website. It's easy to use for our sake and the customers. We haven't seen any flaws in the software yet.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
I don't have much that I could say about this. Maybe the fact that we use nutshell through our email and instead of automatically replying to the persons email it responds back to ours. not sure if thats even a nutshell issue.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nutshell helps our customers fill out easy quote forms through our website which helps us to respond quicker and book more trips. Rather than sitting by the phone all day answering calls/emails.
"A game-changer for our company"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
1) Nutshell Marketing. Has revolutionized our ability to stay in touch with clients, to market to clients, and to move freight. Literally equivalent to an FTE, or more.
2) Project Management. Allows us to keep up-to-date tabs on 100+ simultaneous projects.
3) Customer Support. Prompt. Genuinely interested. Genuinely helpful and responsive.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
Apart from a couple of niggling details, I have zero complaints about Nutshell.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
See above. Nutshell has been transformative in helping us improve our marketing to and communications with clients and service providers. We are SO much more efficient.
Our weekly sales/project reviews have been driven by Nutshell for years. In our busiest season we need to track dozens of projects in various stages of sales, implementation, and closeout. I cannot imagine how we would do this without Nutshell.
I know we are using only a fraction of Nutshell's total capabilities, but that fraction is absolutely critical to our sucess.
"A Recommendable CRM Tool for Everyone."
What do you like best about Nutshell?
- It has user friendly interface: It is very clean and intuitive that makes every user to navigate.
-Robust reporting analytics:It provides insightful reporting and analytics that would help in data-driven decisions.
-It provides powerful sales automation tools.
- Scheduling meetings with a customers and sending emails automatically withought going back to inbox.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
- Lacks integration option: You can consider adding third-party integration like project management and some marketing tools. I think it would add value.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nutshell is helping me to:
1. Keep partners' contacts.
2. Track journey of our partners and previous discussion.
3. Proper handover when I'm on leave because my manager can easily see conversation with our partners.
"Great software and exceptional staff"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
I love the support available through articles. Our specialist has taken extra care to make sure we get the help we need in using Nutshell to the fullest extent possible. We discuss the way we use Nutshell and then we work together to form solutions and that feedback is forwarded on to the appropriate departments and followed up with in a timely maner.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
Nothing comes to mind, there are things that don't always work the way we need them. However, we don't always use functions of the CRM how they are intended to be used so we understand it's a give and take and we're happy to work together to help develop our use of the system .
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of our leads and making following up easy!
"Been using Nutshell for our company for the last 14 years! Great solution"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
In 2010, we transitioned from an outdated CRM solution to Nutshell. Since then, their platform has undergone significant improvements. We particularly appreciate the seamless Google integration, which enables automatic email synchronization without the need for manual attachments. Additionally, the process design is highly user-friendly and efficient.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
The current platform effectively addresses our requirements, and I can discern no significant drawbacks. We consistently utilize the application, and its functionality is exceptional. Furthermore, its seamless integration with Google Apps further enhances its usability.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nutshell addresses the challenge of effectively managing customer relationships and sales pipelines. By integrating communication, contact organization, sales activity tracking, and lead management into a centralized platform, Nutshell streamlines operations and enhances efficiency. This approach enables me to save time, reduce administrative burdens, and improve overall sales performance through enhanced visibility and insights into the sales process. By staying organized and prioritizing key tasks, Nutshell facilitates the nurturing of relationships and ultimately facilitates the closure of more deals with reduced effort.
"User friendly and very dynamic"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
I've worked in different CRMs and Nutshell is definetly the easiest to use. I use Nutshell daily for both lead management and customer tracking. We also use the Marketing function for email blasts and their builder is really easy to use and produces great looking emails.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
On the rare occation that I do need assistance (beyond their help articles) I have not been able to find a phone number to call for live support. They do have a chat box but it typically takes a day to get a response.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
All of our leads, customers, and marketing can live in one place. We are able to communicate and set reminders for each other. Don't need to send an email "reach out to this customer", just make a task for them in Nutshell for them to complete.
"Best CRM and Lead Management Software"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
I finally found a CRM worth paying for!! I have tried numerous and none of them were user friendly or easy to look at. Nutshell's interface is friendly to look at and easy to use. I am able to navigate the menus and now what I am doing. No programming degree required.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
It's not so much a dislike, but more of oversight. I keep finding new features that are included in my plan. So, I feel Nutshell should do more with advertising their features included. I know there is a lot, so may be to difficult to list them all.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nutshell allows me to keep notes about conversations (email, calls, sms) with my customers, which is great for referring back to. It is also allowing me to keep my leads more organized and help me make sure I am reaching out to potential customers on a timely manner. This i did not previously have and it has worked great. Being able to have multiple lead flows is nice. I have one for new customers and one for existing customers.
"Simple CRM for any size business"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
Customer Service is always available, quick to respond, and very helpful. The platform is simple and for the most part intuitve. I like that duplicate leads are able to be merged. Using the desktop version making calls and tracking interactions is fantastic.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
The mobile app is lacking. There are missing functionalities and the look is not the same. I would like to have a uniform experience on both the mobile and destop versions.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping track of email contacts and lead lists was the primary reason we needed a CRM - Nutshell does this for us.
"Good but still needs work to become GREAT."
What do you like best about Nutshell?
I like the overall layout of Nutshell. It is easy to operate and for my marketing needs there seems to be a lot I can do. Your support team, for us Andy, is awesome and very attentive.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
Getting our DNS setup has been terrible! We can't seem to do it unless we switch our website and you don't integrate with much so it makes us have to pay premium prices for services that aren't great just so we can justify working with you, so I guess ease of integration needs work.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nutshell is helping us keep everything in one place but we are still configuring for my specific marketing admin area of services. It's giving the team full access so we dont need to call to check up on everythings stats and for me its helping build and automate things to streamline our service outreach.
"An incredibly easy to use contact management software"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
A platform with a lot of great benefits, especially for the highly personalized sales area. Our lead nurturing activities are now more efficient and our organization as a whole is better off with centralized customer information. It has played a key role in streamlining our processes, which has improved team collaboration and accelerated deal closure. We can all do our work from anywhere, and I can track the team's progress while seeing how others have interacted with a prospect. It's very powerful and gives me everything I need on a single, convenient screen. I have been able to easily connect to my favorite email and calendar software with this solution.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
Sometimes labeling is not an option and we have found that some advanced reports require further customization to meet our unique business needs.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nutshell allows us to find and contact prospects more efficiently, which in turn helps us manage and contact customers more effectively. We have been able to improve coordination between our sales and marketing teams by having visibility into the status of our opportunities. We can now track each customer and tailor our interactions with them to their specific needs, resulting in a higher conversion rate and more money in the bank. We have been able to reduce the amount of organization required thanks to its ability to automatically set up tasks and consolidate new information. It helps us stay in touch with current and potential customers through contact management and email follow-up. Our business has reaped the benefits.
"Intuitive product, plenty of features for small-medium company, exceedingly great service"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
Frankly, I like the service best. I know that raises an eyebrow because it makes people wonder, "Why does he need to contact customer service if the product is so great?". That's a legit question but it doesn't mean the product is not great. A good CRM platform is going to be deep and wide and have a lot of functionality that takes a bit of time to learn. I'll admit, I'm not the fastest learner of CRM tools, so once in a while, I ask the team for pointers or help sorting out issues that in most cases I've screwed up myself. In every single case, Nutshell's customer service was immediately available and very happy to help me. They constantly go above and beyond.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
Not much.
I would like the customizable dashboard to be just a bit more customizable. Right now, there are about 5-6 widgets, but there could be more.
Sales automation is very capable but needs more tutorials and help getting it going.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
They make it very easy to manage a small or large number of contacts and sales leads in a variety of different styles and methods.
Once you get bigger, their Marketing, Forms, and Sales Automation modules make it easy to grow and scale.
"Nutshell is great because it allows me to get more done in less time"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
Nutshell's user-friendly interface and straightforward navigation make it easy to track accounts, manage all of our sales processes, and combine all aspects of engaging with current and prospective customers. Covering initiatives that target prospects and customers, the workflow of this area can be achieved using an algorithm and simple criteria. This includes aspects such as metrics, social media management, customer support, email marketing, inventory and human resources management. One of the features that allows you to start using it during the webinar engagement is the tool.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
A few things that could be better with this fantastic CRM solution are the inclusion of tutorial manuals and a basic configuration of the CRM so that users can see how to set up the program initially. Also, the customer support is really slow.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Several market segments are currently using Nutshell to track sales. Customer tracking starts at the prospect stage and continues through the sales funnel, from qualifying leads to engaged customers to closes. For large companies with many stakeholders, this tool has been great for lead tracking, and for the mid-sized companies that use our products, it has been fantastic. We can upgrade our current method of tracking sales, sending reminders, and communicating with spreadsheets to a more organized system.
"Nutshell, My External Brain"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
Ease of setup and use, and the mapping function
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
I don't use some features (e.g., pipeline), so the dashboard is cluttered with irrelevant noise.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an Industry Liaison for a School of Business at my university, I constantly interact with community partners, employers, alumni, and current students. Nutshell provides instantaneous intel for upcoming meetings, outreach campaigns, and out-of-area trips. I answer questions quickly about companies (e.g., how many alumni work there?) and people (e.g., guest speakers, where I met them) so that outreach is tailored and we look like geniuses. Nutshell has given me back so much time!
I also love seeing who has opened my emails and if they clicked on links. This insight benefits me in follow-up conversations and evaluating what works.
Since signing up with Nutshell to manage my CRM workflow, I've given other departments demos of how they can efficiently manage and track complex relationships.
"Nutshell for Tradeshow Sales and Sponsorship Tracking"
What do you like best about Nutshell?
We love everything about Nutshell. The lead tracking capability, ability to add tags to easily filter data and the link between companies and individuals all works great for our large sales database. As a manager it is easy to track the sales team's activity and check progress on accounts in a few clicks.
What do you dislike about Nutshell?
Compared to more mainstream CSM systems, there is a little bit of a learning curve with Nutshell, but that is what also makes it great once you learn everything it can do.
What problems is Nutshell solving and how is that benefiting you?
Previously our team was tracking sales for upcoming events through an antiquated system. Now everything is in one place, the data and email tracking is available for everyone to view and it brings cohesion to the team. It also has reduced time-consuming outreach between team members for updates on accounts.
