"Uso do Moodle como professor e como coordenador pedagógico."
What do you like best about Moodle?
What do you dislike about Moodle?
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
Viabilizou implementação ágil dos cursos que tinha sob minha responsabildade, todos eles perfeitamente adequados às exigências dos clientes que atendíamos.

"Moodle is a flexible open-source Learning Management System"
What do you like best about Moodle?
Moodle provides the flexibility that you are looking for in an LMS. It allows you to manage your content effectively, organise it in a meaningful way, assess your students through a variety of activities and provide feedback. What makes Moodle flexible is the number of integrations available for other learning and teaching software. Moodle also integrates with other systems, such Turnitin Similarity/Feedback Studio, Zoom, Panopto, Blackboard Ally and more, which allows for a more consistent experience. Moodle works as a central hub and is connected to every other service that a organisation might be using alongside it.
What do you dislike about Moodle?
Moodle can be quite complicated sometimes and its ways to achieve things are quite long-winded. You need to spent a lot of time to figure out why learners can't submit an assessment or why they can't the feedback you have provided in assignments. Some standard activities (such as Moodle Lesson) are best to be avoided and replaced by third-party software (such as H5P).
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
One system to organise learning content and run assessment for our learner. There is a seamless integration with our Student Record System, Zoom and Panopto (our VCMS).

"An intuitive and easy to use LMS system"
What do you like best about Moodle?
Our Association is only just starting to move into the online learning space by developing our small short courses for our industry.
I knew of Moodle through hearing about other people's experience in the online learning space but I looked at a few different options to make sure I was getting the best system . I decided to sign up to Moodle Cloud as I thought this would be the best option as I did not want to spend too much money while I was teaching myself how to create an online course.
I am happy to say that Moodle had a comprehensive learning database and short courses which made it easy to learn how to use their system.
In the six months that I have been using Moodle I have successfully created two small short courses and rolled them out to members of our Association. Our Association has 37 people enrolled across the two courses which is encouraging. Of those, only two participants experienced difficulties in completing the course or navigating the online LMS.
I have had good support from Moodle when I have needed to contact them after not being able to work out a solution to a problem I kept encounting.
What do you dislike about Moodle?
With many tools it is hard to know when to use the right one.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Association has had to pivot to online learning as traditional, face to face, onsite learning/teaching opportunities is limited for our industry.
With Moodle we are able to reach more of our members who are spread over a large geographical area.
"Versatile learning management platform"
What do you like best about Moodle?
The flexibility of the platform is catering for different organisational needs. We are a development organisation with several programmes, some of which do not even fit the learning part, such as workshop facilitation or dicussion focurms, and with the features and the ability to integrate with other platforms, we are still able to support learning, coollaboration, etc. It is also easy to use by our beneficiaries and internal teams, and with the support of an expert service provider, Open Learning Technologies, it was easy to drive our programmes and thus implement withtout many challenges.
What do you dislike about Moodle?
WIthout internal technical expdertise, it requires dependency of a service provider and this may be costly, even if it is open access.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have digitised our education development prorgamme for teachers in rural areas with the intention of easy scaling to cover more schools.
"More Customizable for Less $"
What do you like best about Moodle?
Customizable, scalable, lots of integration options

UX/UI needs work, more complex than many educators can handle, default settings send way too many emails, requires a lot of assistance for instructors to set up classes
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moodle has customizable options that other LMS don't, all in one platform, "free" (costs time)
"Moodle Open source LMS"

Firstly, possibiity to create many different courses very quickly
Secondly , creating courses in different languages
Thirdly, flexible filtration of an access to different groups
Fourthly, internal chat
Fifhly, app Moodle for smartphone
What do you dislike about Moodle?
It is not ese to use all features quickly, it nessesary to ask professionals.
It takes time to learn some features, for example it is not easy to find out the algorithm of adding a new sudent to the group.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
The shortages of time seems to be lower, Moodle helps to organize the list of courses for a long period of time.
I do not think about the shedule and believe everry test will be opened in time
"User Friendly"
What do you like best about Moodle?
I use Moodle almost every day and I find it user friendly. When I click on the site home page, it has all the courses listed which makes it to clicks the course that I want to go to.
I like the fact that each group that I assess is seperated so when I click on submissions and needs grading, it filters everything for me instead of me searching for a learner.
It also shows me follow ups , if a learner re-submitted a specfic assessment , it states re-submission so that I know this is not a new submission,
What do you dislike about Moodle?
There are system problems that was faced recently with modules not showing that suppose to be showing under specific learners or myself which lead to a delay is assessments.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact that I can assess learners all over South Africa without having to courier assessments each time and feedback is immediate.

"Frappe Helpdesk Integration with Moodle LMS"
What do you like best about Moodle?
Moodle is a flexible and quite customizable, open-source learning management system it provides users with a friendly interface for education management functionalities. It assists in collaborative learning through coursework assignments, quiz setups, interactive video lectures and many other curriculum features, it also gives strong reporting and analytics on student progress. Integration of Moodle with different educational tools and systems extends its functionality, centralizes learning activity, and strengthens data management.
These features make Moodle cost-effective and powerful for any educational institution.
What do you dislike about Moodle?
While customizable and flexible, Moodle is still quite complex for new users to use, and requires a learning curve. The default interface may look a bit outdated, and large-scale deployments may experience performance issues. Without additional plugins, feature availability could be less. The official support options are rare compared to what one would get from a commercial provider.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
It provides full course management, collaborative learning tools, and robust analytics to meet the demand for a flexible and easily customizable learning management system. The users benefit from it by having educational activities centralized, rich student engagement, and gaining profound insight into the process of learning. Because it is open source, this allows for its cost-effective implementation and extensive customization to meet specific institutional requirements.

"An affordable and robust LMS for any type of organization"
What do you like best about Moodle?
It has a very high degree of customization, both at the graphic level and in extending its functionalities, using graphic "themes," its open-source code that allows it to be modified in a standardized way without fear of future updates, and the use of third-party plugins.
What do you dislike about Moodle?
Sometimes its robustness of features works against it, in the perception of non-technical administrators, as they may perceive it as an LMS with too many features and more complex to configure.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us to offer a very affordable LMS tool for any type of organization.
"Moodle - An Easy to Use LMS"
What do you like best about Moodle?
Easy to set up and implement system, user friendly, great for repository of information; easy to train faculty and students; can add institutional branding, can use for variety of things such as courses, program review, student workspaces, faculty workspaces, curriculum management, etc.
What do you dislike about Moodle?
Does not have all of the functionality of more robust LMS systems, doesn't offer many customization tools, layout is a bit archaic; importing and exporting courses take several steps and the process is very clunky. Customer Support is lacking and takes a great deal of time to get answers for issues.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Moodle primarily to offer courses to students; we also use Moodle to house our program review and curriculum management processes. Moodle helps us organize information and have a centralized place to direct students, faculty, and admin to work through key processes. Because Moodle is so easy to use it has been a breeze to train all users on using the system.
"Nice open LMS, with a great amount of flexibility."
What do you like best about Moodle?
The amount of customization that you can do to your site and courses is a huge benefit. Being able to add plugins and other integrations makes each course a great landing site for our students.

Along with all the plugins available, many listed on their official plugin page are no longer working or able to be used. This can cause some isses when non admi nusers find the plugins via searches and request ones that will not work in our environment.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moodle is our primary LMS for higher education. This has allowed us to grwo our on campus programs as well as offering fully online programs. Having a reliable LMS helps to show that our programs are consitent and professional.
"The Perfect LMS"

Moodle is one of the best LMS for any institute, It has everything that an institute needs to run smooth online classes. It is very easy to integrate and friendly to use. I have been using it for quite a long time and have found it most useful. What do you dislike about Moodle?
Just one recommendation, templates are very less.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it for some of my clients and found that managing classes, designing courses and modules, tracking students' attendance and allocating the assignments all these become so easy here. You can easily track the course progress and student progress. Even you can upload the assignments and conduct exams as well.
"best-in-class open source LMS for today and the future"
What do you like best about Moodle?
After the pandemic virtual learning debacle, it became obvious to adopt tools specialized in delivering blended and virtual learning. Moodle gets it all right, flexible and powerful; superb features for any style of learning, and a huge plug-in ecosystem.
With API access it is not difficult to pull resources in from other sources (or share resources from moodle).
I'd be remiss if I didnt mention H5P, interactive asessment that links into moodles gradebook. All really good stuff.
What do you dislike about Moodle?
Anything relating the customizing themes is a pain in the ass. I use default theme boost. There are some really good themes you can buy - not that expensive. But if you want to customize a theme, blech.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
Delivering content is more than just watching youtube videos. There has to be meaningful assessment and engagement or it's just another resource dump. Being able to offer blended or virtual learning is a huge value-add for me and my students. Moreover, if a student wants to extend their learning I can simply enrol them in one of my courses.
"Pretty powerful LMS for small and large organizations"
What do you like best about Moodle?
I appreciate the 4.1 version's easy-to-use interface and abundance of customization tools and options, which, when combined with the reporting tools, offer teachers a great deal of control and flexibility in terms of designing their courses and overseeing their content. Also, its scalability for large organizations when working with a Moodle workspace is quite powerful.
What do you dislike about Moodle?
Lots of customization options and tools also imply a steep learning curve for managers. Not too simple self-setup and integrations might require some external services to support your team if the approach gets a little complicated. In any case, there are some very interesting, not too expensive, options to explore.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
We train staff and constituents on the same platform. We connect it with other custom systems that we own to manage training and exams related to them.
"Moodle Workplace Provides The Power and Flexibility Needed"
What do you like best about Moodle?
The migration to Moodle Workplace provided us with a powerful training and implementation team that laid the foundation for our LMS today. Of course, most LMS companies help with migration, but this was different. I had managed other LMS providers in my career and the experience, answers, and dedicated time - but my experience with Moodle US was beyond anything that I had experienced. Our LMS went from no courses to over 200 as of today. We are in the administration side of Moodle Workplace every day the office is open as we support students and seek to enhance their experience.
As an educational non-profit, the following details are what is the best from our experience:
- Flexibility - The coding in Moodle allows us to even change the names of buttons, items, etc. This went beyond adding our logo or even brand colors. This allowed us to have each student experience be unique to our vocabulary and "look and feel".
- Programs - We leverage Moodle Workplace which allows us to create programs. These are bundled courses or a series of courses that can be packaged together and allow for a seamless experience for our students. This provides so much power with bundles, certificates, and other course groupings. From a student experience - it is all seamlessly connected. This past year, we looked to move from Moodle Workplace to Moodle. Moodle didn't have this functionality so we stayed with Moodle Workplace.
- Branching Scenarios - Moodle allows us to create branching scenarios that provide a student experience in line with a Choose Your Own Adventure. This allows scenario training, feedback, and the opportunity to make new choices. This has been very powerful for us!
- Price - We've looked at a lot of LMS providers and the scaleable and affordable price point of Moodle has us sold. As a non-profit, finances are critical, and having access to a robust system at a solid price point is brilliant!
- Support - I've worked with support tickets before. But the Moodle Support Team is out of this world. Super fast response, research, and help in addressing questions, fixing issues, and walking us through upgrades. Every interaction has been stellar - truly.
- Plug Ins - Want to go farther? Moodle has so many plug ins. We tend to use very few and keep it to the Moodle Core, but the options are there and we review them from time to time. Everyone has a unique situation and that plug in might just make the difference to someone.
What do you dislike about Moodle?
With flexibility comes complexity. Moodle serves a worldwide community. It takes an investment in time to really understand the multitude of settings (most of which we haven't even needed to change or use), but they are there and when we are troubleshooting things - there is a bit of research. (Support has been so helpful, but there is a big ownership piece taking on Moodle - more so than some other LMS providers.)
We all use things differently and with upgrades to address enhancements and changes made to things from the look and feel to how the interface works. Once you get to the point of customizing things it can be challenging when options are taken away. For example, the recent upgrade took away the next button on the screens and moved navigation to a left-hand menu. It seems clunky. An enhancement request has been made by a group looking to return that function. That said, we can use a plug-in to put that back into the functionality. In the end, it would be great to have had the ability to turn it on or off - not just take it away. Once you get used to customizing things - it can be hard when you can't.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a problem of being relevant in the 21st Century. As a non-profit organization that started in 1912 - it happens. Moodle allowed us to jump into the current century (and beyond)! Before that our content was open and it was easy to "take". Now, we have reminders, workflows, and student engagement with videos, articles, case studies, scenarios, assessments, content, and more. This benefits us greatly because we can talk about the experience with our company as a positive one and that the learning experience is one we can fully and honestly recommend. At a time when more and more organizations are doing more with less or even disappearing. We are thriving and growing. We had three employees and even with all the new technology and options - we didn't replace an employee when they left and two of us handle it all. This is a huge benefit to us, the students, and the community.

Its tough students and teachers UI decorages the users.
What problems is Moodle solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. We are a k-12 School. We use this LMS to make Blanded learning concept possible.
2. We are a group of 132 institutions in the far area of northern india. To teach the students with the help of electronics equipments we use LMS for content delivery.
3. We are also using this LMS for online leaning and teaching of few courses.
4. Automated online assessment and assigment reduced the teacher's load dresticly.
5. Integration with big blyue button it removed the interfarance of outsiders/unathical intruders during the online classes.
