What is RemoteGenies?
RemoteGenies is a freelance marketplace built exclusively for hiring pre-vetted Filipino freelancers for one-off tasks and short-term projects. Clients, mostly entrepreneurs, startups, and small business owners, use RemoteGenies to outsource everything from website design and development, to executive assistance, customer support, social media management, video editing, and more.
Unlike generic platforms, every freelancer (called a “Genie”) goes through a rigorous pre-vetting process involving skills assessments, custom tests, and manual screenings to ensure high performance and reliability. Once a task is posted, the platform matches the client with the most relevant Genies, allowing up to five to bid on the job. Clients can review bios, rates, and proposals before selecting who to work with.
Each task comes with a dedicated Project Coordinator who ensures communication stays on track, deadlines are met, and quality is delivered, removing the typical stress of managing freelancers.
RemoteGenies also runs an education initiative called GenieScholar, where every 200 hours worked by freelancers funds one child’s schooling in the Philippines, connecting outsourced work with social impact.
