"Great tool with some caveats"
What do you like best about Clearbit?
Being able to view the companies that have visited our website has been fantastic from a sales and marketing perspective. Combining that data with what we get in Hubspot and Google Analytics has been a game-changer for optimizing our web experience. Our SDR team has an additional channel for analyzing their outbound campaigns and dialing in target prospects, and our AEs are able to see which companies that are currently in cycle are visiting the site and getting information about our company so they can reach out.
What do you dislike about Clearbit?
Clearbit has gone through a number of UX changes recently, and not all have been for the better. Their most recent visitor report, in particular, is much more difficult to read and use. Their credit-based system is fairly unintuitive, and our team has found that the names/titles they have from a data enrichment standpoint aren't terribly useful for our audience.

It is very useful extension. I personally use this extension and it's mind blowing. I can find the details of any key person in just one click. It reduce my work load.And not only key person, you can find the email ids of other employees of thr company.

Sometimes it's shows error and my 60% work is depends on clearbit so for that time I have to find some other extension. It's provide limited credits so i have to buy the credits for some more details.

Clearbit allows us to instantly enrich our form conversions with just an email address, allowing us to ask additional qualification questions instead of information we need for routing. All of this while increasing our speed-to-lead.
The platform sends our sales team notifications when their target accounts visit the website anonymously. In addition, we can create audiences and find new target accounts based on companies visiting pages on our site over a short period.
Lastly, we can leverage that account visiting information in ad audiences with built-in integration to Facebook.
What do you dislike about Clearbit?
Would love to see additional integrations for ad platforms such as LinkedIn. I would also like to have more control over which old contacts are refreshed each month instead of the entire database, including old leads that are archived.

Clearbit is primarily solving our speed-to-lead which increasing the datapoints we can capture for our form conversions. In addition, it instantly enriches any offline event leads we upload.

I loved the seamless integrations of the email finder. Really easy to use, and navigate and 99% of emails are correct. It has saved me lots of time! Highlight recommended.

I think being able to surface insights via a lightning component similar to the News and Enrichment lighting component. A reveal component that can be surfaced on our Lightning Record Pages would be cool.

There is nothing to dislike about it, it works just fine and the possibilities are endless. Ok, maybe the coverage could be bigger, but it's mostly small companies, niche industries that the data is missing.

I wish the integration with Salesforce was a little better. With our Clearbit Reveal, it delivers the data in a text field format so it's a little challenging for the sales team to understand their buyer's journey. I wish there was a widget for Reveal like there is for the enrichment tool.

Before implementing Clearbit, we didn't have any information about the leads we would receive from events, webinars, inbound, and other marketing channels. Our team was distributing leads manually and it was very cumbersome for us. Now, we are able to use the data Clearbit provides to segment the data for lead distribtution and we can deanonymize website traffic and signal our sales team of their accounts that are visiting our website.

The data is accurate and enrichment is fast. They integrate with most of the systems we use as well. The settings interface is super easy to use and understand. However, the most helpful part of Clearbit has been their Customer Success team.

There isn't much to say negatively about Clearbit, honestly. They've jumped on every issue we've had and have been attentive to our account which sometimes goes by the wayside as the company grows.

I thought the user interface was good and seemed easy to use. It had a native integration with HubSpot and seemed relatively easy to set up. It was a little easier to learn than ZoomInfo.

We had an interesting experience, and I didn't anticipate the lack of customer service. We were not able to get a clear answer on the validity of the data being provided.

By using Clearbit, we thought we could benefit from more accurate customer data, which can help improve the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, increase customer engagement and loyalty, and drive sales. Additionally, the platform should have helped save time and resources by automating the gathering and integrating customer data, which can free up time and resources for other important tasks.
What do you like best about Clearbit?
Currently we use Clearbit enrichment and prospector. Prospector is good, but the enrichment side is really where we extract value on the Marketing front. We've based most of our MQL scoring mechanism off the data that Clearbit provides across demographic and firmographic information.
Because the data is also accessible via API we have multiple other use-cases for the tool like enrichment of lists we generate from other sources as well as using it on the engineering side in signup workflows.
What do you dislike about Clearbit?
Main thing I don't like is how their pricing is based upon your database size. I would much rather if they leveraged a usage-based pricing model. There are thousands of leads in our databases that we don't actually care about getting updated (or cannot be enriched) on a monthly / yearly cadence. Instead, we'd rather just a pay-to-play model, and frankly I think we'd end up using it for a lot more because of that.

Main value comes from it's ability to integrate with SFDC / Marketo and enrich our leads within the systems. Additionally, because we can ping the API endpoint too, that makes it more valuable

Data Accuracy, at the end of the day if you want a reliable data source and be able to action the intel there is not another provider out there that does it better.
What do you dislike about Clearbit?
Prospector limits you to 500 searches at a time which makes it a bit clunky, any query over 1,500 companies and it tends to crash. However these are all things that you can get use to and work around easily.

We are able to track down our ICP's far easier than we could before with Cognism. The data is also typically 90% accuracy or higher for emails which we were getting far less with other providers. It can get pricy but you get what you pay for and save on the validation side.

The weekly report Clearbit sends gives me helpful insights to pass on to our sales team. We like how we can see which organisations are accessing the different parts of our website and allows us to prepare relevant information before reaching up to potential customers Clearbit has identified.

The only downfall we have with the report is that it's not mobile-friendly. The report typically arrives in my inbox at the end of the day on Friday while I'm on the go. Trying to read the report on mobile is damn near impossible due to the need to scroll the pop-outs.

We are using the weekly website visitor reports to understand which companies have visited our website so we can then better target them via ads. It gives us understanding about their intent and allow us to warm up those prospects better.

We are still using the free version, so it has some limits obviously. Would be better to have more companies listed in the reports, but as I mentioned, this is probably on the paid plans.

It helps us discover the companies who visit our website, also based on the source of the visit. It is really helpful for our marketing efforts, as we can use that information to better target those companies.

The dashboard is clear and precise. Clickable everywhere for detailed info. I like the newly added G2 intent data feature. Clearbit also helps me to keep an eye on our direct competitors.

Quality of leads is sometimes questionable. The target audience isn't always tight. The pricing is a little much for small start-ups and smaller teams. There should be some level of data validation since many leads provided aren't accurate.
What problems is Clearbit solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clearbit can be used to reach or target higher-level executives from a company. I use this mostly for escalations. I find it better than SimilarWeb for identical features and for our use-case.

The Weekly Visitor Report has helped me and my sales team identify high-priority companies to follow up with and has generated actionable insights about the companies and industries that are reviewing our product.

It's hard to say anything here, but I have to hit a character count! Really have no qualms with this product.

Identifying who is visiting our website, seeing trends from visitors, and what web pages are performing well. We've been able to use this data cross-departmentally and even do some proactive outreach.

The Clearbit Web visitor tracking tool is very easy to install if you have access to your website's header tags. It is also free (for a limited amount of data).
Thus far, they have not done the usual thing with free tools and badgered me to sign up to a paid service. I know other companies charge a considerable sum to provide the same service.
What do you dislike about Clearbit?
So far the only real issue is that the summary information about the visiting companies, e.g. their business category, doesn't always match their actual sector so we have to scrutinise every record. We also haven't worked out a successful workflow to target the visiting company and maximise the opportunity of the potential lead. We don't know specifically who has visited, let alone their job title. We don't know the search term by which they found us to help narrow the search down. Ethically, we also don't think people would like the opening gambit along the lines of 'we know you visited our website' would be received well by the recipient. So, we know we're potentially looking in the right haystack, but we still don't know exactly where to find the needle(s).

Clearbit is helping us to understand which companies have visited our website and potentially giving us an insight into which business categories are being attracted to a particular web page. Once this reaches a sufficient volume it will benefit us primarily in tailoring our content to attract the right visitors and, less precisely, identify potential new business leads to follow up on.

I enjoy that you can take particular audiences and import them to Meta for custom ad targeting.
This is crucial in serving your ads to the right audience. We tested it against Meta's native targeting, which outperformed every time. Same ad creative, budget, and copy to ensure the test was as clear as possible.
What do you dislike about Clearbit?
I dislike the fact that you cannot create collections (a view of the traffic of specific webpages) based on UTM parameters.
You are able to use Google Analytics to achieve this but this should be a feature in platform.
Their free website visitor report has a better UI than the Clearbit main platform and offers the ability to segment traffic based on source/medium.

We're able to de-anonymize our traffic and better understand who's engaging with our website.
We can also use Clearbit's data to target the right audience for our Meta ads.

As a fairly young startup, Clearbit has been instrumental in unlocking insight and visibility into our ideal customer profile, which is vital for marketing and sales initiatives. Using Clearbit's enrichment solution, we have not only been able better understand who is using our platform but have also been modeling that data to continue to grow our user base.
What do you dislike about Clearbit?
So far, I have not encountered any significant limitations while using Clearbit. There have been some delays in configuring the API integration internally, but Clearbit's Integration and CS teams have really stepped up to help provide interim solutions while we work on getting the API activated.

Clearbit Real-Time Form Enrichment, Account Level Visits, Real-time Slack Notification.
The tool has a good integration ecosystem, so it can be helpful for organizations looking to grow their integrated marketing tech.
What do you dislike about Clearbit?
Getting their Support Team to help with anything is a nightmare. Don't know if they are understaffed or just not skilled to handle the technical requests.
The Account Level Data (first-party data of SF + Marketo) doesn't trigger any notifications in Salesforce.
The Person Level Data (first-party data of SF + Marketo) doesn't trigger any notifications in Salesforce.
The Email Digests don't work at a group alias level.
Platform enablement is very poor.
The Enrichment fails 3/10 times at the Enterprise Level and 6/10 times at the SMB level for Data Enrichment.
What problems is Clearbit solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, the only problem being solved is real-time form enrichment to reduce form friction, allowing users to have a better form-fill experience. There is nothing else worth highlighting as the benefits of the tool.
