What do you like best about VisualSitemaps?
This tool is so powerful, it's difficult to describe. I'm looking to move quickly through requirements phase of a project and building a site map is a key deliverable in that step. Even with it's super slick and intuitive design, I wanted reassurance on how the credits worked and what was the best practice to be efficient with the credits. So I reached out to the help chat and got a REAL person almost immediately. He was able to answer my questions, validate my approach to efficiency, and helped me select the best plan per my use case. If there were 6 stars available, I'd give it to 'em!
What do you dislike about VisualSitemaps?
Nothing yet! But I might hit my usage limit... so that will be a bummer... even on the highest tier...

The crawl feature retrieving SEO metadata is a bonus. The support team is quick and helpful.
What do you dislike about VisualSitemaps?
One suggestion: I'm not a fan of dark mode, and having multiple workspaces would enhance team organization. Nevertheless, VisualSitemaps is a must-have, making our visual presentations to clients a breeze. Kudos to the team for this fantastic tool!

I use VisualSitemaps to audit client websites and understand their structure a little better. At a glance I can get a snapshot of their entire website content.

There are some settings that are a little technical. I'm sure they're necessary for some people but I don't use them.

Viewing a website content and structure. Using VisualSitemaps allowed me to uncover a whole section of a client's website that they'd forgotten about.

Allows you to quickly and easily generate beautiful visual sitemaps and high-resolution screenshots of any website. It's an invaluable tool for web design directors, UI and UX designers, developers, and SEO and marketing strategists.
What do you dislike about VisualSitemaps?
Nothing, everything works - all my dislikes are personal wishes, like I would love to maybe compare generated things but need to be honest here and say I would use that feature once in a year.

Quick overview of the website - this helps me and my team create a better overview very quickly. This way we can work on client websites and make them better and faster, like 360 view which helps us notice pain points or total differences in design

It is easy to pull a quick visual sitemap.
The newer Flows features is great for building a custom sitemap.
They are continuing to add more great features over time.

What do you like best about VisualSitemaps?
Pricing is better compared to other similar tools. We have been looking for a sitemap visaulitazion tool and we settle on Visual Sitemaps. Pricing allow us to have multiple users under a package compared to other tools where we would have to pay for each user.
Functionality wise tool is great. Once we crawl a site we can then duplicate it, upload and replace the page preview. This is good to showcase either proposed wireframes or new design. We can also reorganized pages, add comments on new design, etc. This allows us to present a proposed sitemap to our client in a visual way and not the old way with just PDFs.
The crawl sitemap also retrieves page SEO metadata (title, description), as well as H1 and H2 headings.
We had only contact support once and it was quick and very helpful.
Overall, just a great tool to have and is easy to use. Our company uses it on a weekly basis.
What do you dislike about VisualSitemaps?
Dark mode: I do not like dark modes anywhere. Our team do not seem to care but I would love if there was a way to switch dark mode off.
Workspaces: Within the app you are giving one workspace and that's were all the projects are. We would love the ability to add multiple workspaces for the multiple teams we have. Again not really a deal breaker for our team but it sure would make things a bit easier.
What problems is VisualSitemaps solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us asses potential clients project. By crawling a site, we assess the amount of pages, and how we could rearrange to consolidate. It also allows our clients to visualized the current size of their site.

What do you like best about VisualSitemaps?
It's a really interesting solution that allows you to create sitemaps that provide up-to-date screengrabs of the pages. Allows you to reconfigure for testing or to query issues with tags to your web-dev or CRO team. There's much more but simply put it's a solution that never left my mind from the first time I used it in 2020.
What do you dislike about VisualSitemaps?
Running multiple sitemaps for the same site over a short period can sometimes result in gaps, so it's not consistent if you need on the hour updates. It's much better if you can pull the new sitemaps on a daily or every half day. So for updating during a campaign it won't be very useful, but that's also not the goal of Visual Sitemaps.
What problems is VisualSitemaps solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows you to visualize everything in a concrete way for stakeholders in a way that's not technical and allows them to comment on in an easy to do manner.

Being able with a few clicks to capture an entire website. Doing this manually was a nightmare. This automation has been fantastic. It allows me to do other things and as a bonus, allows me to markup pages with tagging and more for future update considerations.
What do you dislike about VisualSitemaps?
It doesn't appear to support comparing before and after screenshot comparisons to show what has changed. This would rock my world and help significantly.
What problems is VisualSitemaps solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves me having to screenshot every page, taking notes on each. There was a need and VisualSitemaps seems to have nailed it. Because I am detail oriented, the even have many options for the screen capture for password protected areas, delays and more. I appreciate the attention to detail.
